In addition to my celebrant duties, or as a stand alone role, I can act as a mistress of ceremonies, introducing speeches and the cutting of a cake, for example.

Sometimes it can be useful having someone on hand just to help out with whatever’s needed to ensure everything runs as planned on the day and I’m happy to help in this way.

I can greet people as they arrive at a venue, gather people together for drinks, or photos, and explain the order of proceedings, making sure people are where they should be at the correct time and organising any additional tasks that you might want done.

If you’re having your service in a church, a mistress of ceremonies at your reception venue might be a useful addition to help proceedings flow smoothly and it can take away the responsibility from family and friends, allowing them to really enjoy the day instead
